Create an Edition

Once you've got a few segments created, you can begin to assemble an edition. New editions are published to your brief and can be updated later with new or edited segments. Once an edition has been created, you’ll be able to add and arrange segments before publishing

1. From the main dashboard, click Editions in the sidebar, then “New Edition."
2. Add a Title: This will be the title a user sees in podcast apps.
3. The edition’s status will be set, by default, to Draft. Once segments have been added and audio generated, switch the status to Published to make it live or Scheduled to make it live at a future date and/or time.
   
4. “Enhanced” is turned on by default. Your audio file will be sent to Dolby.io for processing before it is published. If your audio has already been mixed and leveled to your liking, turn Enhanced off. 
   
5. If no image is uploaded, Spooler will use the brief’s image for the edition.
   
6. Click “Create Edition."
   
7. Once your new edition is set up, you’ll be able to assemble its content it using all of the available segments you have uploaded to your brief. Drag segment tiles from the Library window to the Playlist window and re-order them easily. Each time you add to or edit segment order, the playlist is automatically saved.
   
8. Be sure to use of loops, themes, and stingers to make your edition sound great.
