Record in Browser

In addition to uploading segments, Spooler offers the ability to record new segments directly in to your account via browser. This is perfect for breaking news, or for any situation in which a traditional recording setup isn't available. 

1. From the Segments page, choose "Record."
2. Make sure you're using the audio input device you've set up to capture sound. This could be your computer's built-in microphone or a USB mic. Spooler's sound wave display should respond to your audio input. 
3. Choose the library to which you'd like the segment to be added, and click the Record button.
4. Record your audio, and click the Stop button when finished. 
5. Use the trim controls to remove silence from the beginning and end of your segment. Add an additional trim block to remove silence or other unwanted content from internal sections of the segment. Once you've reviewed your audio and it sounds good, click "Next" to create the segment, add metadata, and add it to your show.
